As part of our series of tours, Discovering Porto - 2024, we will have our first program on March 2nd.
Our proposal for this tour, guided by Professor Jorge Ricardo Pinto, takes us to the city of Porto of the 19th century, where every street tells a story of transformation and heritage.
We will see how the Porto of the 19th century and the Industrialization era were built, from ilhas and Working-Class Neighborhoods to the Bourgeois houses and Urban Palaces, east of the historic center.
We are pleased to have with us to guide this tour, Professor Jorge Ricardo Pinto, a true enthusiast and researcher of the history and development of the city of Porto over the centuries. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography from FLUP, is a coordinating professor of tourism at ISCET, a researcher at CEGOT, and a guest professor at FLUP.
Whether through its streets, the breathtaking views over the Douro River, or its delicious culinary flavors, Porto always holds surprises and unforgettable memories for all who visit.
